This year's varsity team has had an outstanding season. We returned eleven letterman, including seven seniors and four juniors. We also added three sophomores and four freshmen to the roster. We went 4-1 in preseason, scoring 14 goals along the way. We followed up the preseason with an undefeated league play with 7-0-2 record and finishing second in the Metro League, earning us a home game in the second round of the state playoffs. We called up four players from the JV team and kicked off the playoffs with a 2-0 win over Roseburg. The journey is to be continued in the next round of the playoffs Along the way we were ranked as high a forth in the state in the 4A Coaches Poll. |
